House Band - Joe Furlong (Bass)

Joe Furlong is an Irish bass player and musical director from Dublin. Having graduated from BIMM Dublin in 2016 with a BA in Commercial Modern Music, he has gone on to tour internationally as a session musician with a number of Irish acts including James Vincent McMorrow and Sorcha Richardson. This has included shows in such prestigious venues as the Sydney Opera House, The Roundhouse, Webster Hall and The Wiltern, as well as numerous radio and television performances including  Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jools Holland, KCRW and BBC Radio One sessions.

His work as musical director for the annual Turning Pirate Mixtape New Years Eve show has lead to collaborations with numerous Irish artists such as Lisa Hannigan, Conor O’Brien (Villagers), Paul Noonan (Bell X1). Richie Egan (Jape) and more.
