Royal Yellow

Royal Yellow began as a result of Mark O'Brien's experimentation with electronic music following the break-up of his previous band Enemies.

In 2018 O’Brien linked up with acclaimed Irish producer Bantum to create the debut single ‘Hazeldene’. It has since racked up over 1 million streams on Spotify and was featured in the BBC/Hulu series ‘Normal People’.

Latest single 'May The First' was released on that same date in 2020. It features a pitched-down, trip-hop infused vocal from Lisa Hannigan, and received its first broadcast on Annie Mac's 'Future Sounds' show on BBC Radio 1.

Royal Yellow’s first EP is scheduled for release in early 2021.
