Hibernacle is an organisation that evolved from an agency/event producer business that was created in 2006 called Turning Pirate. Turning Pirate has always been heavily involved in collaboration.
Between Turning Pirate and Hibernacle we have accumulated over 20 years experience in curating unique artist collaborations, regularly bringing together a diverse mix of artists from different genres, stages of career, genders and backgrounds to collaborate in unique venues all around Ireland.
Whether it is a bold combination of Andy Irvine (trad), Lisa Hannigan (folk) and jape/Richie Egan sharing songs and stories on stage at Claregalway Castle, or a giant collaboration between Booka Brass and Ye Vagabonds and Paul Noonan (Bell X1) to a sold out Vicar Street, at the centre of our shows lies the unmistakable truth that when the personalities of certain artists are pieced together in the correct way and space is given for creativity and fun, the possibilities for magic moments are endless.
Over the years as our reputation has remained steadfast, the magic moments have developed into life long musical partnerships and as the years go on and the artists audience grow, we believe Hibernacle holds the key to some very unique and special events that could be developed all over Ireland.
