Hibernacle returns to the stunning grounds of Orlagh House, Rathfarnham, on July 18th–19th, 2026, for a curated weekend of music, collaboration, and late-night culture just 30 minutes from Dublin city centre. Blending iconic Irish artists, one-off performances, and a close-knit setting, Hibernacle is fast becoming one of the most distinctive additions to Ireland’s summer festival calendar.

This year’s lineup leans into collaboration and reinterpretation. Saturday features a special live performance marking 40 years of Paul Simon’s Graceland, performed by the Turning Pirate House Band alongside a cast of acclaimed Irish singers. A rare reimagining of one of modern music’s most beloved records.

American singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton makes her Irish festival debut with a full band. Following sold-out shows and growing momentum from her collaboration with Ye Vagabonds on Little Flame, Blanton’s sharp, soulful songwriting and magnetic live energy have built a devoted Irish audience.

Also on Saturday, Lisa Hannigan, Paul Noonan, and Gemma Hayes join forces for a special TRIO set, bringing together three of Ireland’s most respected artists, blending original material with shared songs and unexpected moments (taster video here).

Sunday leans into a more reflective tone, featuring Stockton’s Wing, one of Ireland’s most celebrated live bands with over four decades at the forefront of Irish music. They are joined by the unmistakable harmonies of Scullion, long regarded as one of the country’s most innovative and influential folk acts, alongside the understated, lyrical songwriting of Roesy.

Lisa Hannigan at The Secret Garden Stage ///

Wallis Bird is a powerhouse performer, known for playing an upside-down guitar and for her extensive international touring to critical acclaim. Her latest track I'm Your Witness is out now. Spoken word artist Emmet O’Brien also joins the lineup, adding a distinct voice to the weekend.

But Hibernacle doesn’t end when the main stage winds down. As night falls, the festival moves indoors, off-script, into the Orlagh House Oratory, fireside corners, and late-night sessions.

Expect cosy trad circles, DJ sets, spoken word, and special guest moments, where the lines between artist and audience begin to blur. A limited-capacity aftershow runs from 10:30pm–2am each night, with live sessions in one room and DJs into the early hours in another.

Set across the historic grounds of Orlagh House, Hibernacle is deliberately small-scale, designed as a shared experience rather than a mass event.

Hibernacle is not about scale - it’s about atmosphere, intention and the moments you don’t quite plan for.

Getting There
Just 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre and five minutes from the M50, Orlagh House is easily accessible — a short taxi from Bray, nearby suburbs, or the city itself.

Hibernacle is the perfect antidote to the larger, more chaotic festivals out there. It's a relaxed, “grown-up” festival experience with classy food vendors, great drinks, and no stress - just music, people, and memories.
